Proverbs 3:33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
In Proverbs 3:33 we see the promise that the curses and the blessings of the Lord are felt residually by those around the wicked and the just respectfully.
The curse of the Lord affects the wicked and those that are in their house, and the entire nation.
On the other side of that coin, when the just are in authority, they, their house, and the nation are blessed.
In Proverbs 29:2 we can see that the nation is blessed, and the people are happy when the righteous are in a position of authority. And there is a burden that causes the people to mourn when the wicked rule.
This begs the question…
Who are the righteous?
The members of your political party?
Or Christians?
